System Requirements

To ensure the website works well in your school it is important to have your IT people look at our system requirements before the challenge starts. The site can be viewed using two different platforms - Flash 10 or HTML. Below are the requirements to ensure you get the best user experience from the site and that you receive our all-important email communications. If you have any questions at all please contact us.

FLASH (RECOMMENDED)

The minimum requirement is Flash Player 10, or a higher version. If you don't have Flash 10 you will still be able to use the site and have a rich user experience via HTML. If you are unable to see the Flash version of the website please contact your local IT Support Team.

The challenge is web based and requires a web browser. The site is optimised for the latest versions of the following browsers but you can expect reasonable functionality from lower versions; Internet Explorer 8.0, Firefox 3.6, Safari 5.0 and Chrome 5.0.

FIREWALLS

Please ensure that the websites (www.gccjunior.org and www.flashgroupcontent.com and maps.googleapis.com and www.google-analytics.com) are trusted sites within your company to ensure that all participants can log on. This is very worthwhile if your company has any type of Firewall policy.
